How to get into MTP
- Direct Admit: A health care practioner can contact MTP directly and get
information about MTP. An appointment can be set up at that time for an evaluation.
The evaluation will determine treatment needs and recommendations for treatment.
A treatment contract is developed for your participation in MTP.
- Referral: The Board of Medical Examiners and/or other licensening agencies or
place of employment can refer you to MTP for an evaluation and/or treatment.
- Admission: MTP will either recommend and admit a health care professional to
treatment, which includes attending group at MTP and urine drug screen monitoring
or for just monitoring alone.
